Saturday, 06/07/2024 to Sunday, 07/07/2024, 10 am to 4 pm.

It’s the end of a long and hot day and hardly anything tastes as good as a cold beer. You know what? It tastes even better out of a handmade tankard - and that is just what you are going to do in this course: make your own.

You will start to deal with a little more clay for your throwing and pulling handles and hopefully end up with a few tankards that are lovely to use and make an evening in good company even better.

• Firings are not included in the course fee. We glaze and fire a maximum of 8 pieces per participant at an additional cost of 15€ per kilo of fired work. Pots not selected for firing will be recycled and cannot be taken away.

• Previous experience required: yes. You should be able to throw a 300-500g cylinder with even thickness from top to bottom.

• Tea coffee and cake will be provided

All our courses are held in our workshop in Zirl, Austria.
